How to identify a loyal friend?

Hai friends
I am too having the problem of identifying a loyal friend. To some guys i have been making loyal friendship but after some days i was came to know the other is not loyal. Guys please tell me how to find a friend is loyal or a friend

in our country we have an old saying:a friend in need is a indeed!misfortune tests the sincerity of friend!but friends is not your parents,so don't too be harsh!we should have a compatibility!mutual respect for each other!TO make loyal friend ,you should take out your heart to show that you want to make loyal friends!O(n_n)O~ bless you!someday you must make loyal friends!virtue has its own reward!

when you make friends and go along having fun with them, they all seem nice. once u are in trouble or u've to count on someone to help u there will be few or no friends left around u. at this instance, whoever is with u only can be a true and loyal friend who genuinely cares for u.

You can't know it the first instance. But when you hang out with him (+ some other guys) you'll get to know his character. I'd say a lot depends on it, if you ask him to do something for ya, and so he does, I'd say he approves you as a good friend from time to time. That is the point where you'll definetly have known he is loyal or not.
