Do u keep the mobile for only to make communicate with others..?

A day before my birthday, I bought a Nokia 5800 xpressmusic phone. My reasons in buying that somewhat expensive phone is to make internet browsing for me available when I need it. Since it has a web browser and most especially, it has a wifi connectivity so I get to be online whenever there are wifi signals and if I am at home, I uses my network to connect to the web via 3G. And not to mention its built in media players wherein I can listen to my favorite radio stations, stream online radio stations, podcasts, my favorite downloaded songs, videos and music videos. As you can see, my mobile is not just for plain communication, but for total entertainment as well...

for me cellphone not only communicate tool,its more. my cellphone is very usefull..i can do everything with my cellphone like listening music,watching videos,playing games and surf intenernet

yeah, it depends on the person. For me, I just have this cellphone for communication. And, yes, i like taking pictures and videos so I also bring this on that purpose. Cellphone is not just for communication i think. It's also for entertaining people. It's one way of coping stress for a short time.

No Not only for communication i use mobile for entertain for net surfing and also for great pictures.

I keep the mobile only for communicating with my husband and my family. I really do not go into the other features and only know one other feature that is sending sms and keeping the alarm.

Here in FInland everyone has a mobile. It's more than communication, because you can play with it, listen to music with it, navigate with it, surf with it, and communicate with it (It has also many other functions too). A mobile is everything here in Finland, and I think that it is because Nokia is Finnish Happy myLotting

Cell phone are used much more than just being able to talk to family and friends. You can put music on them, watch videos, take pictures, and browse the internet. I use mine for browsing, watching videos, talking and taking a few pictures. They are more technological than they used to be that is for sure. They have cell phones that are like mini computers, where you can do everything on them that you can on your computer. I have a windows mobile phone so mine is like a mini computer where I can do just about everything on it that I can on my laptop. Technology is so advanced that it is hard to keep up with it anymore, and I don't even try. Anyway, my phone is used to post in here as well as browse, so I can use it in that way, when I am away from my laptop. It is a very good phone, and I am glad that I bought it. hello siliguri, Actually,i don't use my mobile for communication(hahaha) I mean it,i am too lazy for text messaging,and,i don't put load for calling either. I usually use internet when communication matters. Mobile for me if for emergency cases only,and for checking my kids when they're at school. My mobile is very useful for my photographing(uhmnn)at least i don't need to carry digicam always. I love taking pictures,and i can say,my mobile is good enough for this purpose. You are right in past we used to take mobile for only communication purpose but in today's era we look for various functions in the mobile like camera, video recording, music, Internet services .....list goes on... Still in India old people still prefer the simple mobile but teenagers want it with many functions. These mobiles are very useful which have several function as one can listen music while traveling and will not get bored. Insurance agents can take the pictures of their agent if they need with the camera available with their mobile. There are many other advantages as well do to which these mobiles are getting popularity and preferred by most of educated people. I am using multimedia mobile as well so I know how useful it is... I have freedom of not carrying any camera or video recorder whenever I go out for some trip with my friends... Have a nice time... happy mylotting

yes because without my cellphone i really cannot communicate my friends easily..

for me,it is used only to make communicate.but most of my friends not.they use their phones to internet,recieve and send emails,read news etc.for them,a mobile is not only a mobile.they mainly keep mobiles as small computers.

Personally I keep a mobile only for communicating. As we know the mobiles' radiation is rather dangerous to our health. If I needn't to keep contact with my friends or others, I will never keep it with me.

Of course not!There are so many additional functions integrated into the cell phone,such as games,dictionaries,internet browser and so on.One of all the functions is chose naturally when someone is killing boring time.
