If suicide is not a sin

If suicide is not a sin, do you think there are many people who will commit suicide? Have you ever think about doing it during those hardest days of your lives?

I've never thought of killing myself.It's ridiculous.And I will never intend to do it.In my view it's a sin toward your parents and closest people.It's selfish.
