how much do you love your sister or sisters?

For me, i will sacrifice my happiness just for my sisters. I really love them so much. If they are happy i am more than happy for them. If they are sad or hurt or even someone hurt them i really want to kill whoever hurt them. that's how i love my sisters.

My sister is about to get married, I'm supposed to be the maid (matron?) of honor. Anyway, she's 35, I'm 48!! She wants me to wear a strapless dress! I'm a bit old to dress like that I think, we're all top-heavy, could I get away with wearing a scarf or small jacket over the dress?
She expected me to balk but wants me to do this. I read your line "i will sacrifice my happiness for my sisters" and felt like that's what's right. Especially on her wedding day! I just don't know if I'll be able to do this. I never dress like that, ever. It feels totally immodest but this is for my sister's wedding day...
