infant formula can's and popsicle sticks

I came up with this craft it was a big hit with my girl scout group the girls loved it. I saved back my daughter formula can's (you can use and kind of can of any size) then I had gotten some of those craft sticks (popsicle sticks) what you do is let the girls glue the crafts sticks all around the outside of the can if you use tacky glue it sticks better. once they are all glue on where none of the can is showing. the girls or group whatever the case may be can decorate how they wish you might want to make sure the sticks are dry before they start decorating. we have been doing the story about the garden and how the girl scouts got started and part of it talked about treasures finding stuff in the garden so when we did these cans they were turned into the girls treasure box's (or this cases can but im sure you get the idea)
