thryoid disease flip flop

I have had HYPO thyroid since I was 6 yrs old. I am now 42. This past October my blood test results showed a complete turn around. I now test positive for HYPER and my antibodies are at 267 and should be at 96. I had a thryoid nuclear scan and it showed HYPER. My endo has put me on meds called Methimazole...its an antithryoid medicine. This is suppose to regulate the thryoid out and then we will see which way my body response...as of right now...even tho the blood work shows hyper...my body has hypo symptoms. I go back in 6 weeks for more tests. Has anyone else gone thru this or have u taken this medicine?
