As we all know that youngsters now a days are intrested in games because they find it very entertaining. As there are many gaming consoles available in the market children want to have them and keep playing for long time.So they are not able to concentrate on the studies. Some people say that games help children to lose pressure from studies so they can be a little free. But children just keep on playing games nd dont even think about studies.

Degrade in terms of preventing children's academic performance would be agreed, but if your talking about games making children stupid, i would have to disagree, games on the other hand actually makes kids more energetic and can help if you need something to keep the kids occupied.

I have an 11 yr old cousin who is soooo into video games since he was 7 or 8 (I can barely remember). At first, he just plays game consoles during the weekends. But later on, he got addicted and every time he goes home from school, you'll see him holding a ps2 controller or in front of the computer. And the most regretting part is: he is an intelligent guy and used to be top 1 in his class but since he got addicted and no one can control him about this, his grades flunked and often times my uncle gets called by his adviser to talk about his attitude in class. Sad but true.
