I guess our strecth of nice weather is over with at least for a day. So with my kids already climbing the walls and starting to get at each other I decided to drag out our craft tubes. I have about 2 or 3 plastic storage containers full of craft stuff. My girls are so creative they took white tissue paper wrapped rubber bands around the tissue paper in different places, then they painted it using different colors, in different section and different brushes and sponges. once it was dried. I carefuuly cut off the rubber band for them. Then they scrunched the paper down in the middle so that the sides sort of fan out. Then they took to pipe cleaners put them together and wraped them around the middle and the ends they curled a little making like attenas. My oldest said "it's a tie die butterfly." I thought that was pretty cute.
