We all have foods we love to eat. Whether it be a certain meal, or dessert, maybe a type of fruit or vegetable. Is there any type of food you j ust can't live without? For me, i can't think of any food i couldn't live without. I think i would be able to deal without being able to eat most foods, but there are certain things that i really love eating and one of those things would be chocolate! I love chocolate! but i guess if i had to live without it i could.

The only food I cannot live without is rice. It's like a basic necessity here in my country. No matter how hard I try to avoid it, it's everywhere here!

what country are you in? Rice is very popular her in Hawaii too. My family has rice every night for dinner, but i do not always eat it. There are certain foods though, that go really well with rice, but for the most part, i can skip it. My husband however loves rice, and has a plate full most nights! i can see how it can be hard to pass up especially when it is a normal food in your country.

Hello kainalu55!! Definitively I can't live without milk. I need it for the cereal at morning or a milkshake, and at night I have a glass of milk. Of course, non fat milk, because I don't tolerate lactose very much!! I also love chocolate but I don't eat them too often, they're expensive and also I don't want to gain more weight! Have a nice day kainalu55, Libna.

Hello! Thanks for your response. I am very interested in hearing everyone's replies. So, for you it is milk that you can't live without? Milk is such a healthy drink. Milkshakes sound delicious, i haven't had one of those in a while. For me, i don't actually drink much milk, everyone thinks i'm weird because i eat my cereal without milk. I like eating it dry! I don't care for miilk so much, but for some reason i do like milkshakes, especially when they are very thick and creamy!

I'm a certifiable chocolate addict. My mother says that I can smell chocolate three feet away even if it's in a location I'm not used to. I think I eat chocolate three times a week. Ideally, I would eat it everyday, but I don't have the budget for that (which is probably good for my waistline).

wow! i never knew so many other people loved chocolate as much as i do! I see i am not alone. I swear i'm a chocoholic! I can never pass up some chocolate! I eat it whenever i can get my hands on it, although i'm not supposed to be eating so much chocolate now that i'm pregnant, they say the caffeine in the chocolate isn't so good for the baby..so now i have to eat it in moderation! I guess that's a good thing though, because i'm already gonna be putting on extra weight with this baby..no sense adding even more by eating all that chocolate!

well, for me it is pasta. love it and could eat it every day and never get tired of it. but i have cut it out of my diet almost completely as i am trying to lose weight. i cannot eat too many carbs as i gain weight very easily if i do. so i only allow myself to have it occasionally and when i do i have to really watch my portions. i have managed to lose 42 lbs in 3 /12 months by cutting back on my portions, my carbs and exercising nearly every single day in some form or other.

Pasta! i enjoy a good pasta too. We try to make pasta for dinner a few times a month. It's a simple dish to prepare, and so tasty! It is great that you were able to lose so much weight by cutting back on your pasta intake. that is the one downfall of loving pasta, the weight gain. I love carbs..bread and pasta..and it's too bad that these are the things that make us put on the pounds!

Cheese and chocolate! (but not together!) I love cheese and can eat it in all kinds of dishes. I cut it up on salads, put it in my eggs, top off a baked potato or spaghetti. It's a great topper or an add on to a sandwich!

I am completely addicted to chocolate. I eat at least one item every day that has chocolate in it. It would be a very sad, sorry day if I had to go without a piece of dark chocolate, or a chocolate chip muffin, or ever worse, mint chocolate chip ice cream. The reported small benefits of eating chocolate just helps me feel less guilty about eating so much of it. As my boyfriend knows, I refuse to eat ice cream unless it has chocolate in it or chocolate syrup on it.

lol..i guess i'm not the only one here who loves chocolate! I love it so much, i've turn my daughter into a chocoholic too! She loves it just as much as me. I love all kinds of chocolate..ice cream, candies, brownies..oh my gosh..just writing this is making me crave it! lol. I love that chocolate has health benefits too..especially dark chocolate which i love..it's great that i can eat it knowing there are some health benefits to it!

I can't think of a single food I would die without. Not that I can deal with not being able to eat most food, there's just too many foods I can't live without. There's chicken, beef, chocolate, ice cream and candy and that's just the basics. Eating is one of the big joys of my life. And I have to spend an hour on the treadmill everyday to make sure it doesn't show

Hi animegirl! I love your response..so truthful! Eating is great isn't it?! I usually love to eat, especially sweets! But now that i am pregnant, i have for some reason lost my appetite. I haven't been feeling like eating much, which is so unlike me. I am hoping that i will get my appetite back soon, as i am missing out on all my favorite foods. I love ice cream and chocolates too!!

I do not think that there are any foods that I could not live without. There are many foods that I like a lot and eat on a regular basis, but I think that I could live without them. I love having my coffee in the morning. I am also a big chocolate fan. I love to eat chocolate, but not all the time. Cheese is another favorite of mine. I eat cheese in many different ways and put it in the majority of my foods. I am also a big meat eater. But, as I said I am sure that I could live without these foods if I had to and would not die without them.

There are several foods (and drinks) I could barely live without. I couldn't live without tea, nor milk, nor sugar. I'd be miserable without these three. I couldn't live without chocolate. I depend on two chocolate fixes a day, and without these, I don't know what I'd do. On those very rare occasions I've been without chocolate, I've been known to leave the house with the specific purpose of buying chocolate. I buy it every day, and eat it every day, twice. Were I to be deprived of this luxury, I'd be a very unhappy man indeed!

Hahaha, I love chocolate too! I sometimes find it hard to go through the day if I don't have chocolate in the house or at least something sweet. I guess chocolate sure is addictive.

There's no food really I can't live without. I eat anything as long its edible and if it doesn't look pale. I love eating chicken and pasta. I can still live with it without them...

I'm Filipino, so I can't live without rice. It goes with all our main meals. And it's usually what makes us gain weight - fast. I can cut down on it easily, but I don't think I can ever give it up. Filipino food is never the same without rice. ;-)

I don't think that there's a food that I really can't live without. Most of the people would have managed to handle such situation but there are many things that I could hardly give up like chicken meat which is the main meal almost every evening. I love much rice and potatoes too but I don't think it's impossible to stop eating them. And finally I hardly can give up crisps..it's so harmful for my health and when I don't eat 2 or 3 weeks and just can't hold myself and go buy Pringles for example. However I have managed to reduce eating it to maximum two or three times a month which is not that bad I think.
