if in twenty four hours, you only got four notifications of discussions in your e mail? Here is what I did: First, I checked through several pages of e-mail, looking for mylot messages or e mails. Second, I checked both trash and spam folders in my e-mail. ( a couple of years ago yahoo started sending my MyLot discussions to trash.) Then I checked "recent discussions" for discussions by my friends and then of course I checked "discussions friends started". I found discussions in both areas that I should have been notified. Then I went to the bottom of the page, and clicked MyLot, then clicked "contact" then chose the option of "other" and told MyLot about it. They immediately sent me a message saying they got my message, and please do not send a follow up message. So I will not, because I know they will fix it. Of course, the last thing I am doing is starting this discussion so that my friends understand why I am not answering their discussions and so that anyone who does not know what to do in a similar situation will learn. I know others have had this problem, have you?

Yes, but it doesn't really bother me. If I can't find all the replies or discussions I feel I should have been notified about then I just go looking for them. Sometimes my e-mail folders completely fill up with discussion posts and then I'm annoyed, so I'm not horrible annoyed when they don't show up at all.

MyLot is one I want ALL the notifications on, and to have four in twenty four hours when I have over nine hundred friends is kind of scary. I usually only get discussions from about ten friends, though.

To be honest I am not sure. I haven't checked any areas of mylot but I have gotten less notifies then I usually get. I have however unchecked some notifies and havent' rechecked them... if ya know what I mean. I know members have had this problem before though, notifies not showing up for whatever reason. I'm sure mylot will get it fixed in a jippy though! thanks for letting us know, I haven't started any discussions lately.

I do not like having to go around the other way to find discussions, but I can get used to it. From what I am reading it is pretty widespread.

discussions anyway but thats okay.I manage to find most all of them
as I have lots of time to mylot., Hope you can get it all straightened
out. I also look for your discussions as I have since I first started here, and love them as they are always interesting.good luck and God

I am going to have to get busy and start some discussions. I was trying to make myself get all resolved first, but that is not really fair.

Sounds widespread, and I guess they are working on it.

Hi Gerty! I went online this morning to find NO notifications at all! Not from new discussions, or responses to replies. I immediately checked to make sure that my 'notification' setting didn't change - which they didn't.
I sent a message via the 'contact us' form, as well as respond to a couple of 'new messages' about the problem. Now what I'm doing is going through the 'friends started' ones and making a few responses. I guess I won't know if some one replies to my responses, which is a shame.
Hope it is fixed quickly. My email inbox look sort of bare...

More experienced users like to help. I also did not want my friends thinking I had completely vanished.

I have been away from My Lot for awhile, this is good advice. I do ;like to check the discussions friends started to see if I have missed any e mails. That is actually how I found this discussion. Because Gmail sometimes sends My Lot discussions to spam.

I wouldnt think anything bad about you if you didnt reply to any of my discussions to begin with lol.
I try to not get too much email from Mylot as I already get lots of them from friends and family. I usually login here and check discussions my friends started. Thats how I do it.

It was an interesting change of pace. I see that notifications are now back working. I do not worry when people do not respond, but I am concerned when I do not hear from certain people fairly often.
