how could I lighten my csection scar??

Can anyone help on how to lighten my csection scar?? its a vertical line and its really showing up.. i want to lighten it, what should I use? is there anyone of you who lightens their scars?

Have you tried any of those scar creams like mederma? It's supposed to remove the scar or lighten it or something. I have a big scar on my knee from a motorcycle accident that I have thought about trying mederma on.

I havent tried anything, have you tried it? is it effective?

I haven't tried it yet, but I was thinking about it. I think there are several different brands that do the same thing.
