I like to write. Whether a song or what. I am just an amateur and I am doing it for fun. I just want your opinion. Do you write and publish it at the magazine? And if you write a song, will you get an IP for it to avoid someone else to copy it?

I've gotten to the end of writing my story that I want to make into a film. It focuses on many different characters and many different subplots which are headed towards the very same central plot.
In reading my story I've noticed that I've left some characters out and or some of the characters stories are incomplete.
It is also quite tricky to figure out where to put the revelation of everything. You put it too early it will seem amateur-ish. You put it too late it will seem tacked on.
As I read and rewrote, I realised that there was a plot point that came way too early in the story. Luckily I found another good spot to put it.
The type of story I'm writing is Mystery, Action, Drama, Fantasy. If filmed right it could be up there as one of the greatest films of its time.
