paying it forward...

it has been my life long dream to do something good to my fellowmen without having to expplain myself as to why i am doing it. I want to do it without attracting attention. I have always had a soft spot for children and old people. they are the ones i want to help... I need information on how i can start or introduce a program or just an activity where i could help street children or less fortunate children in the slums. i want to start a free weekend school for children or a feeding program. or perhaps a weekend event where we could visit and take care of old people in caregiving centers... please give your input on these issues. thanks a lot. god bless you all!

That's a real honorable thought there, I hope you are able to get your wishes fulfilled. That's awesome.
I think the paying it forward is a good way of keeping oneself stay sane and grounded. Helping others (especially the needy ones) give out this vibe of positivity and a feeling of goodness in oneself..but not a snobbish one, of course. It's like a mini self=accomplishment, up to major ones, depending on the deeds that are being done. Cool.. I haven't thought about paying it forward, maybe I should in future.

thanks Zed... i just hope i am able to do it soon so i can get more work done. i'm sure if you have the desire no matter how small the desire is...as well as care enough to know that there is a need out there then, you too can do it in your own way. goodluck to us both! god bless you!

Hello jade good day.. your intention is really good and so sincere. I just hope i could give some detailed information about what you looking for. Anyways I dont know where you are located when I checked your profile it doesn't state there. But if you are just here in the Philippines, you could coordinate with the catholic churches here. Some of the churches are surrounded with beggars and vendors who are old. you can organized a activity for them and usually some of the churches has a park infront of them so you could easily gather them and have an simple but meaningful activity. Thats just my idea about it.
