on my post about Kari Ann Peniche i knew i was going to have to look it up because when i wrote it out it didnt look right.. i looked it up and realized i had and i *thought* i had gone back and changed the way i spelled it but didnt realized til i hit the start discussion button and was in the tag area i hadnt at all.. sigh.. these things drive me crazy since i know i will prob get a lot of people thinking im stupid and correcting me.. i havent actually done this in awhile since when i had bad insomnia or was drugged up on cold medicine years ago so i guess it was about time! so have you totally butchered some ones name or an important part of a discussion? do you tend to do it often or never?

I do have many typos here in mylot...but I'm trying to improved everyday. Sometimes my keypad in the keyboard would stuck and I though I already type the right words but came out wrong. I'm just hoping others will understand.

Yeah, that's one of my "favorite" things to do too! lol! I hate to catch a glance of the post just as I hit submit only to see I made some sort of mistakes. But that's okay, it helps me have grace for some of the other posts I see with mistakes!

I try not to have any misspellings but I never go back and hit the preview button or anything like that. I don't think I've butchered anyone's name here but when I am typing fast in a chat I am sure I've done it then. I'm not sure who Kari Ann Peniche is though the name sounds familiar so I wouldn't know either way whether it was spelled wrong or not.

I used to religiously check the spelling of my posts here on myLot before. However, I still end up with typographical errors when I go myLotting when I'm asleep. I also think it wastes a lot of my time so I just try to type in accurately as much as possible so I don't have to go back and check the spelling. On another website, I was sending a message to another user and the message came completely different. I had a bad experience and I told some of them how to avoid it. Unfortunately, the sentence turned out as "I hope what happened to me happens to you." Oh man! I felt so embarassed about it. Thank goodness the person let me know about it and she understood my error. Thanks to that, I also told the other users my major error.

I am always so paranoid about this! Lol. But it only seems to bug me when I do it. When other people do it, I just look over it. I do this a lot on myspace with my status update. I am constantly deleting my post and trying again, because it just drives me crazy!

yeah i think it bugs the poster more than the people replying to it

you wont get into trouble here if you do unless you start using texting lingo to where its hard to read etc.. but occasionally there are people here that love to point out some ones errors

hi moonlitmagikchild you are not alone I have also goofed in making discussions and seen the goof after I had hit the post button. so maddening. Its much easier on comments and responses to make a comment explaining your dumb error, but on a discussion its a little more complicated. moonlit nobody should correct you on here, as that in my eyes is darned rude, if someone does so do report them as there are right ways to talk to one other than do that. I mean if someone really wanted to make a gentle correction pm you do not finger point in a discussion. that is just totally rude.

It hasn't happened with a name, but I'm sure that I have mispelled something in the past, and when I realized it was too late . Don't worry, it happens to everyone
