Can the present squad of Chelsea still be able to campaign for Champion league ?

If the present Chelsea squad are not axe or sold as the ultimatum given by the owner at the end of the season,
will they be still in a position to win their coveted Champions
League trophy..
or is it really needed to bolster the team with fresh players ?

I doubt that would be the case. I think next year if Ancellotti is still in the job, at least some of these players would be out. For starters Ballack and Deco would go out for sure as they are way past their sell by date. So I do not think this present squad would be leading the campaign for Chelsea next year.
