Worst team for T20 championship..

Whether its the selection of Piyush Chavala over Amit Mishra and in form Murali Kartik,
or inclusion of Dinesh Kartik over Manish panday, Tiwary, or even Uthappa who is in good form would have been better choice than Kartik. Irfan Pathan shuld also have been included in place for Ravinder Jadeja.. he is in good nick with both bat and ball, while for Jadeja everything is uncertainty. Most of the selected players are coming out of injuries which is gonna be another problem. For sure its the worst team they had selected preferring uncertain players over in form one's..

I am surprised with Chawla over Mishra as I feel Mishra is a better bowler than Chawla. But there is something under the surface there as Dhoni is not very confident of Mishra for some reason. Kartik was a certainty as a backup to Dhoni. Pathan I think is suffering because of his poor form with the ball over the whole of last year. He simply seems to have lost confidence. I think he needs to get back his rhythm else he is not making it back to the team.

vinay kumar,chawla,jadeja,karthik and rohit sharma are all bad picks...i can see why they excluded pandey coz is more of an opener and the team dosent need openers since they have seghwag and gambhir...amit mishra not being selected is the most shocking for me coz he can bowl a plenty of the wrong ones but since we have harbhajan it wont be much of a problem..but stilll he shud have got selected..irfan pathan is sturgling with his line and length so no suprise that he isnt there..

I do agree with you that it appears as if the selectors have gone for the names and not the recent form of players..if that had been the case then obviously there would have been a few changes in the line up..however though we are uncertain about the condition of certain players still we think that if they can play and recover from their injuries then even this team is not bad but still I agree with you that it could have been better with the introduction of a few in form players.
