Who will be your 3 best defenders in EPL ?

For me it would be 1. John Terry ( who seems to be the Great wall of Chelsea at the back )
2. Carragher (he's never prone to injury & he's always there for the crucial saves)
3. Patrick Evra (he's also never sideline on the bench cos of injury & he's also attacking defender )

many good defenders in EPL i think my friend.it`s hard to make only three but i try
1. Carragher. he is determinant, strong and dedicated for football and his club.
2. Vidic. it`s diamonds for MU i think. Sir Alex is lucky to get him.
3. Vermaelen. he is so talented i think. congrts for wenger

For Me it will be Richard Dunne From Villa , Hanngeland from Fulham and lastly King from Tottenham.

I would put Brade Hangeland and Thomas Vermaelen very high in the list. I think JT has had a slightly bad season by his own high standards. Carragher's legs are gone, he does not stand up to the top strikers any more. Evra is good when he is on the overlap, but his defensive qualities are bit on the lower side. I would rate Rio and Vidic definitely above him on the defensive aspect. If I need a overlapping defender, then I think Cole will definitely above Evra.

interesting topic...for me:
1. Gabriel Tamas play for West Bromwich Albion and is my prefered for is roman:) He is integrated very well in team, and hope to promote in English Premier League. yesterday he scored for WBA in draw with Reading 1-1
2. Sasa Papac is bosnian and play for Glasgow Rangers, is between defender for frequently away in atack and marks.
3. Hmmm probably Evra...

A verry difficult question - given the need to compare wide backs to centre backs and sweepers. Even thou in order to get to my top three , given the heavy names that goes around the Humangous clubs in the Premier League I had in mind a Big TOP five and they go something like this : Gael Clichy ( Arsenal ) = Martin Laursen ( Aston Villa )=Daniel Agger ( Liverpool ) = Kolo Toure ( Arsenal ) Nimenja Vidic (Man Utd).Now i really had a hard time to squueze two players out from these five , hence theire all Big Names and great Talents , here it goes :
*** Daniel Agger ( Liverpool )
** Nimenja Vidic ( Man Utd )
* Gael Clicy ( Arsenal )
On a purely biased note , i would say Clicy For the Number One position , however i am not ignorant and egotistical to not see that there are plenty of other high quality and worthy candidates in the EPL ,
