Pick a name that you like and would want to be called. I work in a industry here in the US that has heavy ties to the Asian population and several of my clients are from China and Korea. The names that they go by here are:
Ray
Andy
Paco
John
Choy
Eddie
So your possibilities are limitless. If I were to choose a name for you I would choose, Xavier. The meaning behind the name is "the new house". I like it because it retains the X in your Chinese name and it is kind of a "new house"/description for yourself.

Why do you want an English name? Don't you like your name? I have a Indian name and I do not think I would like to get it changed for anyone. So you are in IT. What are you? A desktop engineer or software engineer?
There are lots of English names if you want. I will name a few.
Aaron, Barry, Boris, Charles, Conan, Casey

Hmm... Hui is read as "hu wei" right? It would be tough too look for a similar sound but let's see. This one can't be for the whole name but I think "Dwayne" would be similar.

Does your name mean anything in particular? that would be a good start for your choosing a new name.
Have you tried googling for baby names? the sound isn't everything, you know, now that you have the unique opportunity to choose your name (and not the one parents give us) I think you should search for the meaning of the name... you will eventually find one that suits you.
good luck!
