No one knows the truth except this baby is dead. I want to know why he was with his dad,where was the mom, was CPS involved,did other family members know he was getting beat, did someone hear him getting beat so many questions and no answers. This happens way to much and sometimes the courts or CPS send children back into situations like this because they have no where to send them. Sacramento Police say the parents of a Sacramento toddler who died after suffering brain damage will be charged with murder. The two are scheduled to appear in court Friday. The father of three year old Jeremiah, Adrian McRath, and his stepmother, Dayshawna Lawrence, were arrested Wednesday on charges of child endangerment and inflicting corporal in injury to a child after their son, Jeremiah, was taken to the hospital with traumatic head injuries. It was originally reportedly that Jeremiah fell in the bathroom at a Sacramento apartment, but Sacramento Police believed it wasn't true. Later on, Lawrence admitted to giving him "whoopings." Jeremiah showed positive signs Wednesday morning when he began breathing on his own, but things took a grim turn later in the day when he was declared brain dead, according to a family member. Jeremiah was pronounced died Thursday morning after he was taken off life support. McRath and Lawrence now face murder charges. Lawrence is reportedly under psychiatric watch
