What is the alternate to earth to live on for human?.

There is a prediction going on around us that during 2012, the world will come to an end.Whether is it possible?.If so what is the alternate for the human to live?.Venus is ruled out because it is close to Sun and is very hot.Mars is near and what about earth's natural Satellite Moon.
Ancient people believed the existence of human being in other planets? is it true?
If, so what is the alternate to earth?

NASA and expert astronomers have been giving a lot of attention to the planet Mars during the past decade or so. In fact they know more of Mars than they do of Earth. The reason for this is that Mars seems to be the next best candidate for humans to live in. Mars' condition is very much like Earth and many believe that it once had vast oceans and supported life during its past. All evidence seem to point to this direction. As for whether the end of the world will happen by 2012, I do not believe in any of this for even the Mayans who predicted all of this, have their calenders beyond 2012.

Mars is the best planet to live among all the other planet in the universe.If the pulls between the planet and the Sun varies then there is a possibility , the planets will collide with each other there by all the living beings on earth will get ruined.

we humans are really greedy, god has given us the earth to live, gave everything in it to live, as a matter of fact food, shelters, and other things are provided in every country, but the problem is we are so greedy, we took too many resources beyond our needs and took them without even replacing them, and now that we took every possible thing to make us rich and made our own home a garbage then we will ask and find for another shelter?then what's next if mars can sustain life? we will destroy again the mars and find another one?instead of finding for the alternative home why not do something to make this world a good world again?why do people seek for money and powers then they will just die and everything will be useless why not just have a cooperation and rebuild this world of ours?
Yeah all of the above words are impossible.
Greedy humans cannot be teach to give for others.

Your so crazy. If has ended up then there is no work or worth haing this solar system and milky way and etc. So no end for Earth as on Dec 12 2012

You may be right.But it was some years ago, this rumor was there. At that time the Scientist informed that all the planet if lined up in a straight line then there will be change in attraction between them and that will make them collide with one another and the earth will face the end.But it did not happen. The planet has adjusted little and it did not come on the straight line.Happy myLotting.

as far as i know and can see, there is only planet earth that can live on. i really dont know about the others. they are either too hot, too cold, rocky and devoid of life. i think 2012 will come and go and planet earth be still here. maybe more problems and more calamities and suffering. more earthquakes, floods, thunderstorms, hurricans, famines, not enough food and water supply on the earth and tremendous sufferings and hardship of the people. there may also be more wars between humankinds in the name of religion and pride coupled with arrogance . perhaps in the same religion, there will increase sects and other offshoots of the main religion.there will be false prophets and the likes.. confusion. thus we have to be careful not to be drawn into 'false' religion as some call it. to me, i will stick to my bible, my charistic church. i must remain focus, then only i can get revelations and activations. so looks like it, this is the earth that we are living and the quality of the environment is deteriorating in the name of progress and there is global warming to deal with. mankind has to deal with the issues now with cooperation and in all earnesty or else it comes to nothing. venkatachart, the world is not ending just yet, just more shocks after shocks in the world weather, wars etc etc. i will have to have faith and cling to God as i dont know what else to do.

You have elaborately discussed all the things.But still there is a belief some where in the planet human beings are surviving.But there is no solid proof.

Well, we can try -- but umm -- i don't think all of us can get there :)
Even if we did, we won't live that long - so, we might as well take care of our _ROOM_. Yeah, that's what this is - our own big room - take care of it :)

World coming to an end???? i heard about the 2012 solar storm...i have a post on it as well...as of now they(NASA) are saying that there is going to be destruction...but the destruction is of satellites, power, transmission system and stuffs like that...they (i think) have not said any harm to life(which i doubt) as if it is going to be destructive why not will it destroy us as well, it will, but they are themselves are not sure as to what kind of impact will it have though they have been observing it from the year 2006...need to have more information...
having said that any alternative to earth---no alternatives seen, it is just being explored and not worth, wish we had an alternative but not sure whether that can happen in atleast our lifetime...
