What do you think of the prices of the season tickets?

When the Yankees put their season tickets on sale 2-3 weeks ago, I went online and checked it out. I think the cheapest season tickets that I found was $2000-$3000 for the entire season in the 300 levels and somewhat further out in the out fields. Wouldn't it nice if the Yankees can offer some kind of partial payment plan so that you don't feel the stress of paying for it in 1 shot? They do it for the football season tickets (at least for NY Jets), but I don't know why they don't offer it for the Yankees. May be all the season tickets holders for Yankees are all rich and can afford it.

Tickets to major sporting events have gotten outrageous. But look at the saleries of the players. The thing about it is that people will by the season tickets and then sell off those that they don't wish to use so the ball club make their money and it is up to the individuals worry about if they can use the tickets or not. A payment plan would be nice but I wonder if they don't offer one becuase they sell all of the season ticket without any problems. I guess if you are the 27 X World Champs you can do what you want, becuase the fans are going to be there no matter.
