hello there,
yeah, we turned off our lights and we participate in this activity for our mother earth. its a good feeling to be part of these things and to help in our on little way.
anyay, this don't ends here, even the earth hour is finished, we still do things to help save our earth, we turned off our lights when not in use...and we do save energy in our own little ways...

Hi,ckyera
Firstly,thanks for ur participation.
I think it's time for us to do this, to some degree our modern social civilization comes from our immoral actions to the earth,we destory, damage and ruin something that belong to nature,to the earth. And the earth also have warned3us and even retaliate against us for the mistakes we have made...

Hi Macfish,
Yes we will be supporting this call for an hour of lights off for our mother earth. this is a simple way of showing our love and concern to our environment. let's be one for this call.

I'm so mad at myself. I forgot to do this today. Interestingly enough, during Earth hour, I was busy dictating a book review of Annie Leonard's "A History of Stuff." I've decided I'm going to just do it tomorrow. The planet won't care when I do it.

The knowledge and technology exists today to generate all our power green. Man insists on using fossil fuels because they are cheap.I think we should turn all our lights out until they generate clean energy. If everyone would leave the lights off until they did, the changes would come quickly.Yes, I will be more than happy to leave my lights off.

Thats a great thought..well if saving energy is not only for the home, it for our planet. Sure i was not much aware whether i switch of lights, but thanks for making this point friend. I will pay attention on this small work, to turn off lights and power when not in use! Hope everyone takes this into consideration!!

Hi, mac_fish. Yes, I will shut down my lights for one hour. I usually do this anyway. In a 24 hour period, I can have my lights turned off for about 9 hours straight. I only turn my lights on when I need them. I use the light from the sky to see. And if I keep my lights on, it is only for about 20 minutes or so, then it is off again. I try to save as much of energy that I can, it helps our budget and the earth itself too.

Our lights are all switched off now. Only a couple more minutes before the Earth Hour officially ends.
I'm really happy that our family gets to participate in this event.

hey ,this earth hour is act for those who do not generally care about energy conservation.
I am not among those people, because i conserve energy whenever i can .
but i appreciate this move to save electricity and will try to save more.
This EARTH HOUR may awaken people to conserve energy.
