How fast is your internet connection?

Currently, my DSL provider is clear Wire, and I did have some complaints about it. I just not getting enough speed from it, as it claimed to be up to 6 MB download speed, and I don't even get half of that speed. On my research, Comcast has pretty good rating, and many people did recommend it to me. Charter internet I have some doubt on it since its customer service wasn't that great. On the last search, google will provide ultra fast Internet connection, which will be 1 GB connectin speed. That is lightning fast. I wish I would have one myself. But it won't be available everywhere though. It is kind of limited. Oh my God, does anyone know how can I get the Google fiber internet connection?
