I am a student who studies good and gets first rank. Even though, I am the first rank holder, I think that I am not perfect or a brilliant student. Because I don't know everything and so I can't be perfect and not only me but whoever the person is, let it be the president of the country or the most knowledgeable person in the world, he/she isn't perfect even though he/she may know alot of things but he/she may also don't know a few things.
So, what do you think, are you a perfect student or were you perfect in everything when you were a student. Or at present, even if you are not a student, do you think that you are perfect, if yes, then why? Thanks for all your responses!:)

Yes, you are right. We should keep practicing everyday to become a good and well knowledgeable person. But we should keep in mind that we cannot become a perfectionist in any aspect, but just go on increasing our knowledge as it has no end and keep sharing! :)

hi sheen,
I guess no one can say to you "Hey, I am a perfect student!" . Because we are just humans subjected to make mistakes. Each person has his own strengths and weaknesses. That is how God created us. Try to examine a human body. Each has his own right and left arms. Why do you think God created us like that? Well, as for me, God created us like that to show that we are humans. Our right arm symbolizes strengths and left arm- our weaknesses. By our arms, God keeps on reminding us that we shouldn't be too proud because we have strengths and we shouldn't be feeling so much inferiority because of our weakness.
Back to your question, definitely, my answer is I was and am not a perfect student.I can say that I am very patient with my studying but there are times that I get bored with it that I did some naughty stuffs when I was a student like not listening to my teacher or fabricating stories like I have a headache so I must go to clinic just to avoid my teacher who makes me sleepy in his subject. That is what I am am. I am not that studious nor too neglectful in terms of studying.

Yea, you are absolutely correct that God made us in such a way that every human has some or the other weakness so that we don't feel too proud of ourselves and see ourselves as superior than others. But nowadays, rich people don't have the same thinking. Some of them think that they are superior to all. Anyways, tahnks for your great response. Have a nice day!

I do my very best to be the best student that I can be, but I would never call myself the "perfect" student. I do come to classes every time that I have to come. I do my best to never miss a day. I always come prepared, and I do everything that is asked of me.

I'm a student, and I have good grades, but they're not perfect, neither am I. I think that the perfect student doesn't exist, as there's no perfect anything. Being a good student is enough, as the good thing about human beings is being imperfect

Are we saying that a perfect student is a first ranker or great in all things? If we are a perfect student then we are saying JUST that. It leaves the rest of our lives open to debate/upgrading

I don't think I'm perfect. I know I'm not at all. Now, I've been in school and have done rather well lately but it's more about understanding it than the grade. There's no one that could claim to be perfect and be serious about it. Perfection is just not possible and not realistic but that's just my own view.

For me, there is no such thing as a perfect student.. What students do are learning and perfect students mean people who stuy perfectly. Study only and not teaching other people is not a good thing..And grade is far from everything. I believe that we must not sharpen our minds only, but our physique, and spiritual as well.

not me but i love my imperfection. i get to redo my test. i get to redo my practicals. well, that's just me. and between the examiners and me we do not see things from the same angle, from the same perspective.

I used to think I was what you are talking about but that was back in the school days. We had teachers who pushed us over the edge, shall we say, made us think, instead of learning facts, and that helped me a lot. I learned I was good at improvising but I also spent hours reading as well. Then later on, as everyone who's been number one and remained unchallenged, the motivation dropped and I began to pay less attention. I switched schools because I moved to another town and met some terrible people in my school, had some hard time adjusting, I nearly stopped caring for my grades and studies for two years. It's a good thing I found my way through and came back to my senses, I surpassed my surroundings and now I'm currently a law student. Now I got all the ambition in the face of the best students, because we are all there for having high scores and ambition and this is what you need sometimes, to be a perfect student, once again... :) thanks for the good topic!

Thanks for sharing your experience. I think that someone who experiences such situations of loosing one's interest in studies and after that again gaining back their interest is great. We get to realise our mistake and then later on we never make such a mistake. Thanks for your response. Have a great day!

Firstly,I must admit that you are such a great person for you always get firsk rank. Now i am the middle student in my class, and i do not satisfy whit it.I must try workhardto to make more progress. For my view,"perfect perpon"do not means you are perfect at everything, instead,as long as ones is very good at his field and he himself do not have much defects in other field, such as selfish, vain etc, then he is a perfect person in my mind.

It is good that you are the average student but according to me you should be satisfied about it. But yea you should be satified but try harder and harder to get first rank. And you will surely get first rank if you try hard. Just all the best. Anwyays, according to your view, you are right but here I am talking about the perfect in everything. One isn't perfect in everything. Whereas, even if we talk about being perfect at a particular field, then I think noone is perfect like that also. Let us take the example of a engineer or something. Let that engineer be very very qualified. And maybe now that engineer is installing some software or anything, he may forget something and make a mistake. So, nobody is completely perfect. Anyways, thanks for your response. Have a great day!:)

Personally i dont think theres such a thing as a perfect student. We can be better but never perfect. Your role as a student is to study hard and learn from your day to day tasks. Now if your doing good with just bout everything then your considered a good student but to the extent of being a perfect student i believe thats not possible at all my friend ;)

I always found myself in this situation...questioning myself whether
I was perfect. I manage to get the first rank quite effortlessly, and when I look at other students nearly killing themselves with hard work, I start to wonder. Just remember, there is nothing such as a PERFECT student, or a perfect person for that matter. You might be 'close to perfect' but sadly, never perfect. And there's nothing wrong with not being perfect :P. Its good that you aren't overconfident and that you are humble.
P.S. You pretty much answered your own question

Not only nobody is perfect but I think that it is good that nobody is perfect because if someone would have been perfect, they would have been really proud of themselves and not only proud, maybe even overconfident. Yea, I actually answered my own question because I love to share my ideas with everyone as well. Thanks for your response. Have a great day!:)
