Color of accessories for a wedding

I have this odd color of blue dress I am going to wear to attend a wedding. I got a white sweater to go with it because I could not find a color of sweater to match and was not sure if black would be appropriate. I was going to try to find a pair of white shoes but I waited until the last minute and can't find any white shoes. I am wondering if it is okay to wear black shoes to a wedding? I already have a pair of black shoes but not a black sweater. Do I wear the blue dress, white sweater and black shoes? The wedding is actually semi casual and not in a church but in a sort of garden setting. It is also an early evening wedding. What color purse should I use, white or black?

There is nothing wrong with a black jumper, shoes and bag. I am getting married on the 1st May and my wedding dress is black and purple - lol.

It is hard to comment without seeing the outfit but the colours sound fine to me; not that I am a fashion expert! I’ve worn black shoes at a wedding before and I’ve seen a lot of other women do so as well. I don’t think there is anything wrong with wearing black at a wedding if it’s an evening event especially if you accessorise with colourful accessories. I don’t think there are any strict rules anymore as long as you don’t outshine the bride!
