Its no secret there are many social sites on the internet. I belong to a number of them and it seems friends from one site are also members at other sites. Do you think its possible to have the same set of friends at each social site you belong to? Do you have different friends at each different site?

Hi Tom. I don't belong to any site but my lot. But I guess it is possible to have friends from one site on another site. Can you earn on any of those other sites? Or is my lot the only one you can earn from?

Its understandable. Spreading yourself too thin can do more harm than good so can spending all your time in cyberworld. The nice weather is on its way and I don't see an online barbeque ever happening. Mylot is indeed my favorite!

Hi Tom I try to do as much as possible everyday. Who knows this may be the last day so why not have everything in order all the time. I give what time I can to my lot, but today this will be my last response to anyone cause the weather is going to be almost 60. My flower beds are calling me and my yard needs to be mowed and we are working in the garage putting our tools together so we can get busy building birdhouses. No never heard of being able to barbecue on line. Thanks my friend hope you have a wonderful day. My lot is my favorite too.

Hey Tom, well you and I are proof of this topic fact. Yes it is possible to have group of friends on multiple sites, specially when it comes to networking

It would be terrific if all the friends on one site follow to the other sites. Having 600+ referrals would indeed be sweet.

I am only really active at this site and one other. Yes, I do have some of the same friends on both sites. Some of them prefer one site over another. I prefer MyLot. Probably because I was here first, and I understand it the best. I actually just got back from meeting a friend who is here a little bit and at the other site a lot. It was a fun trip, and I hope to do it again soon. I can learn a lot from her. I hope she gets more active here as well.

I belong to a number of social sites and its difficult to spend ample time on each site everyday. Mylot is a must on a daily basis and I'm trying to get more friends from the other sites to join mylot. I can usually find the same people on each of the sites I belong to. I also make new contacts at each site, then connect with them on the other sites we belong to. What I would like to do is get them all into one tight knit network, but that's not easy at all.

I am a member of other social and blogging sites and I do have friends there but they are not necessarily the same set of people. I have befriended a couple of MyLotters on Facebook and I was invited to join another forum by a MyLotter. On Facebook I have as friends primarily folks who I know in the ‘real’ world like old school friends, long lost cousins and there are a couple of ex boyfriends, in there too!

I actually have two FB accounts. One for as you call them "real world friends" and the other is for my online things. Its kind of crazy when I get 10 different invites from 10 different friends to sign up as their referral at the same site. Here are 10 friends who could be working together in one network, however, I have to decide which friend to sign up under. Then when I ask others to sign up as my referral, they are also already on the site and they each signed up under different referrals. One thing I've noticed is when it comes to building a network, you never get to see the network above you, just below you. Just once I would like to see the whole network starting with the guy at the top.

A friend is a friend. It seems best to do your own thing no matter what.

Well, I do not think so, however they could be very similar, depending on the users and your friends generally. I tend to believe a lot of these sites are overrated... And I think it's not just me that's gonna agree on this one here

I agree with the overrating, but some of the sites aren't bad at all for connecting with people. Belonging to several social sites makes it difficult to spend a significant amount of time on each one everyday. That's why I was wondering how many people have the same group of friends on each site they belong to or if they have different friends at each site.
