Why does Love ends?

I have always been wondering why love sometimes has to end. Do you know the reasons why?

Is that so? if it's true love, it wont really end and if it ends it's just an attraction? Maybe it means that it ends when it is based on lust alone so some people confuse love with lust then?

im sorry but i just realized, Mostly the love sought from a partner is to fill an aching gap inside. I don't think lust has much to do with this, it can happen between best friends, parents and children, platonic relationships etc.

Wow , rona_pacana3 , i guess you choosed the most delicate question , and i only answered just seven questions untill now , but this one its a itchy one .
Well from my point of view , love its doesn't ends ...it is slowly conversed into deep hating feeling , if with time the two persons dont comunicate well enough to sort out theire problems and work togheter towards having a healty and happy relationship , love its like a fire ...it only needs a sparkle to have it on , but in order to mantain it , you have to constatly add some more wood , so i guess if two people love eachother they cann work togheter on building theire special fire love :).

but i really think Familiarity breeds contempt. I think that love is based on the feeling that being with someone gives us, and not in really knowing the person fully. So when we are with that person for some time, they become comfortable and stop doing whatever they did that made us feel special and in love. Couples begin to take one another for granted, and quit doing all those wonderful, special things that made each other feel special. Eventually, one will fall out of love, and it all falls apart, and the other one is always shocked and dismayed. This is a very simple explanation to a quite complex emotion called Love.

That's harsh sir bobby88. but i kind of agree with you.
Fundamentally, no one has the capacity to make anyone fulfilled and happy, because that comes from within.The love and acceptance has to be firstly by self.It is a big burden to be responsible for someone else's long term, sustained happiness-especially when generally it is something that comes and goes in any case!

well, it is not yet an absolute or non-conditional love i guess...because if it is the later..it will not end..you may end up not together but love will continue..
in practical manners, i guess everything on earth don't last at all, including feelings, memories etc..all destined to perish at the anguish of time.

Hi rona_pacana,
Everything has it started point and ending point. There is no permanent thing in this world including love.
Love ended because it has been fade with jealousy, greediness, found a replacement and so on. Love also ended because of someone live end.
