Yes!!!sometimes when I am in a hurry going to my appointments.I feel starving that I needed some energy,so the quickest resort is buying foods in the street vendors, which is sometimes unhealthy, but very convenient to all kinds of people, wither you are poor or rich, you can avail it anytime. To some people, they categorized it as exotic foods because of the ways it is prepared. The likes of grilled chicken feet, grilled blood of pork or beef, grilled chicken head, grilled chicken intestines, etcetera etcetera.Do you like to eat it is is delicious!!!I am sure you love it!!!!

I like taho (Soybean custard), fish ball and isaw (chicken intestines). I remember I use to eat taho a lot each morning when I was young and would really run out of the house with my tumbler and wait for the taho vendor to pass by our house. And I usually request additional sago (pearl tapioca) and syrup. The isaw was introduced to me by my husband. I find it gross at first but when I taste it was good. I don't usually buy them specially those on the streets where they are exposed to the smoke-belching jeepneys. If we really want to eat street foods, we just prepare one in our home. At least we know that it is safe to eat.

You are definitely correct because preparing these kinds of foods in our own home is something different in taste and it is very hygenic, without the fear toxins from the surroundings.I like taho, yet I do not like the isaw because I am very particular in cleaning the intestines and wash it thoroughly before I grilled it at home.I like it very spicy when done.

Thank you very much for the response.Yes surely you got me right that street foods are deliciously delectable to many people even to the more affluent to the common man in the vicinity.Previously,I do not wish even the aroma of the street foods, but now I always got the point to stop bye its places, and join the many others choosing what to eat, during rush hours.

Thank you very much for the response.Yes!! that is quite true that street foods are really tasty and very affordable to the the common man,yet as I have emphasized before that the sanitary doubts of all its products are in questioned, because I have observed other vendors do not have the proper sanitary cleaning of their places. Some have dirty disposal places. Some of the vendors tried their best to look net and clean so I choose those kinds of foods they cater.

I see from your profile that you are from the Philippines. I am from the USA but I lived in asia for several years. I never had the chance to eat from street vendors when I visited your country, but I did all the time in Taiwan. They used to make this really good deep fried chicken, octopus, and other good stuff. There was even a vendor that sold chinese herbal soup that I used to eat when I was sick. I wish the US would have more street vendors.

Thank you very much for the response.Yes that is very true here or in Taiwan, that street foods are catered anywhere you go,but it depends on the cleanliness of the vendor.I am very particular to sanitation, yet street foods are very tasty and and very affordable, even to the common man or to the rich people.I even had one foreigner who joined me upon eating some newly fried fish balls in a stick. He was amazed to the flavorings,so was I,because it is very tempting.I wish you a very great holidays to come...................

Yes, I have. But I am a bit picky when I do that. I have to be sure the surroundings of the vendor are clean. Wouldn't want to get sick.

Thank you very much for the response.Yes!!we have the same routine when I am going to the street food I wanted to eat,and got to see to it that it is done in the cleanest ways to avoid getting sick due to eating of dirty foods in the street.Others do get Hepatitis just by eating a contaminated food from the street vendors, that is why we must be really be very careful in choosing what we eat in the street foods.
