Wow! That's great news. That makes the Italian Serie A also a wide open contest. I think Mourinho right now is more looking towards Champions League and trying to take Inter as far forward in that compared to the Serie A. The whole of last month Inter's performance has been marginal in the Serie A. I think it is a three horse race for the Serie A title this season with Inter, Roma and AC all with a chance. That's good competition.
Cheers!

Hi ram_cv,
Jose Mourinho definitely will go all out for the Champion League. This is the trophy that Inter Milan does not have in their trophy cabinet. I can not remember if Inter Milan ever qualify for the final in these competition.
Since Inter Milan does not have depth in their squad, they only can concentrate in one competition at a time. And theirs currently is Champion League. As the consequences, they would jeopardize their Serie A title challenge. If Inter Milan can qualify for semi final and final, the title would be on its way to Rom.

I am an Inter fan. I do think that Inter will still win the league. Inter hit the woodwork three times so I think that a draw would have been a more just result. Inter are still leading by one point. I think that it all depends on the players. If the nerazzuri players pull the same rope I think that the championship can be ours. Inter has all what it entails to win the championship for the fifth time.

HI adhyz82, I think you did not watch yesterday's Championship league quarter final against Cska Moscow. It was a difficult tie and inter won 1-0. Time will tell if it is Inter or Roma who will win the scudetto this year. Both have good teams. inter has lost lot of points lately while Roma side has improved considerably.

Hi adhyz,
Congratulation to AS Roma. They finally beat Inter Milan and keep their undefeated league records to 21 for this season. It is a job well done.
With AS Roma win over Inter Milan, the competition for the scudetto for this season become wide open for the top three teams. Inter Milan still lead the table but only by one point.
I think Jose Mourinho concentration is shifted towards the Champion League. Even though Inter Milan is a big team but its does not have a depth in their squad. They keep the same players to play week in week out and they would never be able to concentrate to two competition at the same time. If Inter Milan can progress to Champion League semi final and final then it would be AS Roma chance to lift the title they last won in 2000/01 season.

Yeah ... if Inter Milan progress further in Champion League. I fancy AS Roma could win the title this season. They have a very consistence performance and never lost for the past 21 match consecutively in league. At this point of any competition consistency is very vital. It can bring them to the title or lose the title.
I do not think AC Milan could get their hand on scudetto this year. They inconsistency put their chance jeopardize. They too do not have depth in their squad. Most of their players are to old to maintain their performance week in week out. And they would need extra rest compare to the younger players.

Congratulations to roma. Ranieri can smile now, he can make roma close to scudetto now. That's a great achievement as we all know what has been made in the beginning of league with poor playing so spalleti has given up to mantain as.roma. Have a nice day

Well hello Adhyz82 , i'm happy to finnaly see a soccer related discussion and i am happy that your favourite team AS Rome had an verry important win against Inter and against well known coach arrogant ( the MOST ) Jose Mourihno ...but Mr Mourinho did brought me a lot of satisfaction last week , when he showed the backdoor out to Chelsea .But the italian food in my eyes its gone underrated in the past two years , where the british teams inflicted rough victory agains the italians.
Have a nice day.
