I was pleased the action of some advertiser around the world who promoted earth hour but for me I think earth hour can be done every single day by unplugging the unused electrical materials & by conserving water by preparing leaking water. Disposing waste materials to its proper waste bin like separating the recyleable from toxic & have a proper disposal area for all of it. How about you? What can you do about preserving mother earth not just during earth hour?

Yes I agree with you. All my appliances are unplugged until needed. I recycle paper, boxes and plastic. I try to wash clothes once a week and the dishwasher is used either every other day or every third day. I also brought a new HE washer and dryer. The washer uses les water then others. I use the energy saving lightbulbs throughout my house too. I never leave lights on if no one is in the room. I also watch TV without the lights on in my bedroom.
