No doubt R.Madrid is a big & richest club where every players longs to play for.
And almost every players takes pride & longs to play for Madrid atleast once in their football
career .
Clubs like Barca , Manu , Arsenal or Chelsea are also big at par or almost at equal in their quality of playing....but it seems Madrid has an edge in terms of players choice.

It's because Madrid has great fame overall, and they pay bigtime to play for them.

i think the reason is money.
as rich club, madrid can give high amount of wage for their players.
this is why a loyal player like kaka want to move from milan.
this is why a good player like cristiano ronaldo want to leave manchester united
as like a song said "it's all about the money"

I think Madrid is just the players choice because of the pay and fans all around. There may be many players who wants to play there yet there will also be a lots of players that will never move to madrid, those players loyal to their clubs like Giggs for United. Those who really love the game and their club environment and not money will always be loyal to their club. Its just a matter of money that many players prefer madrid. And most likely, Madrid is a club that brings down great players.

Hi zatak,
The reasons for the players willing to play for Real Madrid because they would be paid more there then when they play for the other clubs. Real Madrid always willing to fulfill the player salary demand if they really need that player.
The chances to winning trophies with Real Madrid also bigger because they combine almost all the excellent player. They also believe that Real Madrid can win their 10th Champion League trophy even thought Real Madrid never pass round of 16 knock out stage for the five years.
