This kind of decision making requires alot of thinking. For whatever it is that you will be deciding there will be a price. For example if you choose heart, then you might lose some oppurtunities in exchange but you will be happy because you will be with someone you really like, but if your choose mind, then opportunities will be given to you but in exachange you will feel empty because your heart will be hurting. Now its up to you which one you preffer but one thing is certain both will hurt you ;)its a matter of choice

for me, i think the most important is to follow what your heart say but assess your decision with mind first. sometimes we can be happier if we follow our hearts but in the end without thinking clearly, we tend to make decisions hastily.

decisionmaking should come from a place of logic, not emotion.. therefore id go with my mind in making most decisions. but you really need both in order to make a decent decision no matter what it is. regardless of "logic" if the situation just doesnt "feel" right.. then you shouldnt go there.

Logic trumps emotion every time. The road to hell is paved with good intentions. This happens most often when libels make decision based on emotion (The heart) instead of using logic (The mind).

I really find this topic so interesting, When it comes to decision making we always use our minds in doing that. But why do we always incorporate the heart in every decision we make? Maybe because it is the heart that knows how to make us happy with our decisions in life. So with this I don't usually go for heart VS. Mind. But how this two different systems work hand in hand in order to achieve happiness. First of all always listen to what your heart says but don't rely on this you must also use your mind in making the right decision. Since i Know for a fact that the heart usually does not think it just loves. So if you want to love. Love wisely, Love using both your heart and mind and I tell you you will be happy with it's outcome..

I would go for both heart and the mind. When it comes to lifeless beings like machines without emotions, it is the mind which takes control. When it comes to living beings with emotions, it is the combination which wins. Decision needs to be taken respecting others emotions using the mind!

Decision making is a process. At first I use my mind to analyze the situation, to understand which choice is better than the other one. But then I still need my heart to make a final decision on which choice is good for me, because sometimes our heart tell us something that our mind couldn't explain. So I think, in making a decision, we need both, our mind and our heart...

Well not heart always or mind. Both has to be balanced in its way. If we are too dependent on heart, then we will go extremely emotional. If we go with the mind, we will live a strict life. So to enjoy life, its always better to enjoy a balanced life.

Are we talking about life or love? If its for life then it should be our mind over heart. Then if it is about love then I guess it should be equal. We should know what is right from wrong but in a way that we should consider our feelings as well. But as we can see it really depends because we differs from our beliefs and expiriences. God bless

our MIND ofcourse!!!but sometimes our heart is stronger than our mind. 'and its sad because many of us fall out of love for this reason. .loving with mind setting is advantageous than those of loving with "all" hearts =) --we must not depend our decisions to our heart, for the Prophet Jeremiah once told that "the heart is treacherous", and it steals away what is for us. --how about you?

If you want to come up with brilliant ideas, it should be the mind that should be followed since mind is rational, clever, and just. But, if you are going to decide where you are going to be happy, it should be both the heart and the mind. Mind may always be right but being right is not an assurance to be happy. Heart should also be considered because this knows where you can find happiness.

it is our mind that will be always followed since organs from our heart dictated by our mind they are connected to our brains, so therefore it is our mind.. after all hearts can't think, they are made to feel... sense... that's all

Mind.. you always have to think through things first in order to make good decisions, don't get carried away with feelings and be objective...use your mind

i honestly use my heart in deciding most of my actions because when we use only our minds then we might end up doing things that we will regret emotionally which is much more hard to get over with. for me what's important is using both in a more balanced way rather than to resorting to using one and end up blaming the other.

when i did something unimportant, i would do it my heart, because it is unvalueable,so if i messed it up ,who cares? but if i decide make some serious decisions, i would think it twice, know why and how to do that decision, and what the decision will affect, and how it affect………… so that is my style

In decision-making, we need the participation of heart and mind. Both are very important in coming up to a good conclusion or judgement. Since most people are emotionally weak, some got carried away by what they feel and they regret in the end. Others' decisions were also based on what they think without considering what the heart instructs. For me, the heart and the mind are two elements needed for a person to select the best choice.
