hello everyone.
my dog is mad at me, why? because earlier today, I saw him chewing on something while my sister, Ruth, was cleaning. He had past cases of chewing on dirty plastic bag and caught him one time chewing on a cow manure (plant fertilizer) so i couldn't take any chances. So i grabbed him and forced it out of his mouth to find out that it was his bacon treat. I gave it back to him and said sorry but he almost bit me instead. I was so scared and tried again, but he did it again. I gave him time to eat it all then tried touching him again, this time he let me do it but during his nap time, he usually sleeps beside me, he didn't even sleep near me, lol, instead he slept besode my other sister.
Do u think its normal?

that is funny, well I think your dog has identified he can push you over. You need to learn to show him who is the master and how is the dog. Maybe seek some advice from a pet trainer at your local pet shop.

I have to agree never take food out of a dog's mouth. I know your dog will get over it. I had one dog Scruffy (now deceased) who was mad after their first bath and pouted for a little bit then came around.
My dog Bandit was upset the first time I had to put her in a kennel. We went away for the weekend and when I picked her up first she was excited to see me. When we got her home she pouted even when we tried to give her a drumstick ice cream one of her faves she turned her nose at us. Then laid on the couch looking sad as if to say glad you had a good time I was sad all weekend and thought you didn't want me anymore. She has since recovered and is a spoiled brat.
Thanks for sharing a very funny story and glad you didn't get hurt.

Maybe you are not giving the attenction he deserves. You probably screamed or beat at him and he became angry with you. Or he liked to play, but is stubber and don't like you becuse a think thats happen with you.
Give him a few days and you see he became like you again.
Try give him to eat thinks he like. :)

Its completely normal. Dogs are very protective of there food. When i give my dog treats, it doesnt like when i disturb him while he eats.

It is good to take food from a dog's mouth, it reinforces your dominance and dogs are happy when they know their place in the hierarchy. Don't worry he is not mad just a little wary of you and seeking support from your sister.
all the best urban

Hi, Mike4me. I think that it is normal for your dog to be mad. It is kind of silly though in a funny way. I hope that he does not lash at you again while trying to bite you. He seems to be very angry when he gets like this. And chances are he is mad, because he slept beside your sister and he must have been really angry to do that. Don't let it bother you, he will be back to his sweet attitude to you soon.

Well friend, its normal..its just like human behaviour. A sort of childish anger. My doggy does that, but it cannot remember it long. The next day, it will run towards me licking my hands. When we scold, it will never turn to us and go dull. Its common, wait for a day, it will be back to you.

Hahaha your dog is just having a bad temper just give him sometime. or maybe try the next day to feed him yourself, i mean instead of letting your other sister feed him you do it yourself im sure he will be back in his normal shape after sometime. Piece of advice when most animals are eating try not to interfere like what happened to you as you said you almost got biten. Thats the same experience that i had when i tried to fool around with my cat, he gets too irritated when i tried to pull out the stuff that hes eating. :( lesson learned for me
