I'm not a person that really pays attention to politics all the time, but I am also a person that does take the time out of my life to vote in elections because I feel like it is my civic duty. That said, I don't really think that my one little vote is going to make a difference in the grand scheme of things, but I feel like I am able to complain about the people that are elected if I have taken the time to vote for the person that didn't win.

Voting is a right, a right of suffrage. Therefore, I need, must and have to vote for the betterment of this nation. Through my votes, my voice will be heard and my freedom is exercised. If I won't vote like other Filipino's, what will going to happen to this country? I am a concern citizen, so I always participate in choosing the next leaders of this country.

I'm not really keen on anything related to politics! However, we have to vote I think if we want to get the appropriate people in government. I used to travel to the voting booths when this time of year approached but I like the fact that you can now do everything via post. I receive my voting forms through the post, I carry out my vote and then I post the voting forms back. I don't mind this method of voting at all. I don't have any major interest though in what's going on in politics. I mainly always hope that everything will turn out ok! My vote is one single vote so it may or may not make a difference! Andrew

Elections is just a pure stupidity for me. People are just wasting there time voting and hoping that there would be a great leader. But the winner was manipulated and already bought the majority of the points. So it is so useless, like what PGMA did. That woman is very crazy over money and power, because it is her only way to be rich and her family also. She is so desperate just like here husband and the other corrupt official who are hoping to be the president so that they could also be wealthy.

It's not about like or dislike for me. Voting is just something you do. I think I've skipped one vote since I became old enough, I was going away somewhere at the election day and the queue where we could vote early was just too much. I had far too many things to do that day, and everyone else seemed to have decided to vote at exactly the same time as I did.
I have some friends that complain about how things are done all the time, but they don't vote. So I don't listen to them ;-) If they don't use the one opportunity we all have to influence things, then they don't care enough. Of course, your vote is only one vote, but there's been enough example of how important every vote is.

yeah, i like to vote, because I don't want to save my vote for me and someone else, who I don't think will rule the country well to be elected, because i know that my vote can be just one, but can be something big!

Politics is not my cup of tea; yes I will vote because I believe this is one of my civil rights. I think poor people 90% of them vote because they earned money from it. They got paid if they are hires as poll watchers and maybe as bribery to vote for a certain politician. Well it happened, it was 1986 election that a widow won and the dictator fled to Hawaii: the course of history in our country changed because of the 1986 election. But the consequences still is vague. Politics is always dirty.

I heard that the word 'Idoit' has a meaning: The person do not exercise his voting right.
In India I do not think the voters are afraid of politicians.Instead the politicians are afraid of voters.
Every five year they have to face the voters ,to retain their chair.
Even Late Mrs.Indira Gandhi faced the wrath of voters.
It was voters decision to give a second chance to Dr.Manmohan Singh minus the leftists.
Long live democracy.
Let us do not be afraid to use the most powerful weapon of democracy.
