Should I buy an iPod touch right now or wait for the next one?

I currently own an iPod nano 4g and I'm already tired of using it. I mean it has only a little features. What I really want was an iPod touch but I don't have enough money to buy one at that time so instead I settled for an iPod nano. Around September 2009, the iPod Touch 3g was released and until now I haven't decided if I will buy one already. Please help me decide if I will buy it right now or should I wait for the next release of iPod Touch 4g?

well i am pretty sure the ipod 4th gen won't come out till like 2 more years or so because they are running out of software to add to the little device but i really do suggest an ipod touch or even an iphone just don't lock it up by jailbreaking it cause that is what happened to me i bough an iphone from cragslist and locked it up and can't use it so 150$ down the drain anyways if you want and ipod touch save up for it the thing has alot to offer

If you do not care that much with the new features of the next generation iPod Touch and you are still planning to buy the new one then you may get the 3rd generation. The 4th generation iPod Touch is rumored to have a camera and video recording capabilities, more storage, better screen display, faster processor and the like. You may just buy the base model of the iPod Touch which is the one with the lowest memory storage and sell it again to buy for the new one which would be released in September this year.

I would wait. I have an ipod nano 4 G as well, and to me it is pretty much useless because I don't listen to that much music. The next ipod touch will probably have a camera. I am thinking of getting an ipod Touch as well, because of all of the cool apps that are available.

I guess it would all depend on you. I personally don't see the difference in having an iPod touch that is 3g or 4g. I consider myself a tech geek as much as the next person but to me I don't really see the point. What I would do is wait till the 4g came out and buy the 3g at a discount lol :)
