Do you think CSK and Kings XI Punjab are out of the reckoning for the semis?

The bottom two teams in the IPL three at the half way stage are CSK and Kings XI Punjab. Both have lost 5 matches overall. What do you think? Their chances of semi-finals are over or do you think they still have a route back? Cheers! Ram

Hi ram_cv...How are you..? With the completion of first round the CSK could be able to place on record only 4 points winning 2 games and losing 5 games.. Of course the performance of the team so far is far below our expectations.. But still any thing is possible... If CSK could be able to fly over non stop winnings in the coming 7 matches ... why not... it may happen... after all cricket is such a game ... possible turns impossible ... and impossible to possible... Let's see .. what the CSK does in the coming matches... WITH BEST WISHES.

By my reckoning 7 wins would be good enough for a semifinals spot. That would mean that CSK needs to win 5 out of 7, but given their bowling I am not so confident that they can pull of 5 wins out of 7. Cheers! Ram

Yes, I thank 80% of their chance of entry into the IPL 3 Semifinals has gone away from them. CSK did not perform up to people's expectations this time. Well, I do not think the return of Doug Bollinger and Mike Hussey is going ot take the heat on for CSK like the return of Brett Lee did not do anything to KXIP. The teams need something miraculous to happen. Well, according to me, RCB,DC,MI,DD or DC are going into the semis!!

Yes, I guess this illustrates that you cannot go into such big tournaments just on the basis of your batting!! Cheers! Ram
