I was thinking the other day when a friend suggested eating sunflower seeds. It got me to thinking about roasted pumpkin seeds. I had always eaten them like a sunflower seed. Crack open eat the meat that's in the middle throw away the shell. Then one day I was given pumpkin seeds and was told to eat the whole thing, outside and in. Well, I did. Now it brings up a question:
When you eat pumpkin seeds, do you eat the whole thing or crack it open like a sunflower seed?
Do you eat the shell of the sunflower seed too?

well I remember back when I was in little league when I was a kid they would those seeds everywhere all over the dugout.
I never really got into that or tried it, because it just seem to make such a mess all over the place and I was more focused on playing the game then all the other stuff.
So i never tried any kind of seeds that I can remember, but I know most of the kids seem to like those sunflower seeds back then and I just didn't understand the fascination with it, but each person has their own way of doing things and I didn't have a problem with it except that it made quite a mess with them all over the place.
I would not have known that you could actually eat the pumpkin seeds as I would just rather eat the pumpkin rolls or the pumpkin pie that are my favorite things to do with pumpkin never been much of a seed person or a seed eater, but to those of you that like them enjoy.

Well, I do know sunflower seeds makes your mouth water so you can spit like the big leagues. I do find it gross to find sucked on shell all over the place. Reminds me of 4th of July watermelon seed spittin' contests.

No, I don't eat the shells of pumpkin or sunflower seeds. I am used to removing that and it gives me an uncomfortable feeling when I eat the whole seed with a shell on.
