Old Photos Bring Back Good Memories...

Do you have old photos that you like to see from time to time because it brings back memories you've had with important people in your life that you no longer get to see that often? I have lots of them.
Just about few hours ago I was looking at some pictures taken when I was still in high school and College. Some of the pictures were taken with my friends, best friend, close friends, Org mates, Sisses in the Sorority and Brothers in the Fraternity.
There were photos taken during Christmas Party, Aquaintance Party, School Events, photos just taken on normal days with some classmates in the Classroom during breaks and while the teachers are away, photos taken during class field trips, outings, birthday celebration of one of our classmates and other celebrations taken in the house of one of my classmates. We all look so young, innocent, idealististic and no worries. There were funny and happy faces. Some of those faces I have not seen for almost more than ten years now. Some of them I no longer have even just a communication through chat or even text. Some already have their own family, still single and partying a lot, out of the country, and then there was also one who died at a very young age due to motorcycle accident.
It's so nice looking back. It makes me miss all of them and our good times together. Those old photos I still keep as it reminds me that I was once young and it was wonderful that I spent it with those faces I see in the pictures.

I have a few more years on you :}, so I have tons of pictures...at least 65 albums worth, plus 20 carousels of slides, plus all my digital photography. Before my 60th birthday party, I went through all of my pictures, looking for pictures of me, so a friend could put together a slideshow for my party. It was a blast looking at baby pictures, school pictures, lake/river pictures, etc. My plan is to scan all of my pictures/slides, but it's going to take forever. Pictures do bring back good memories...

Wow! That's great. My mom has lots of photo albums too. Some already faded and some are still black and white. Those pictures were taken when colored pictures are not yet in. Sometimes I see her browsing at her albums. She would also show me the pictures and would tell me the stories behind those pictures (when it was taken, with home, why, etc). She tells it to me with a smile. That's why I know how important those pictures are to her.

Pictures could do that. It makes you want to turn back time sometimes. Old photos can sometimes make you want to see also all the faces in that picture. It makes you wonder where they are right now and how they are doing especially if you no longer have meand of communicating with them. Old photos make me nostalgic.

I too love to look at old photos, I just wish I had more. It is great to remember those times, happy or sad and to discuss them with my children.

It really is happy to do so. Whenever I browse at my albums to see my old photos I cn't help but smile and remember the moments I shared with each of the individual in that specific photo. Sometimes I would woner how that person is doing especially if we no longer have communication. I'm wondering if he/ she has changed (physically and even emotionally). It makes me feel more excited to attend our Homecoming. I hope I can take a leave, take a plane and attend that special event.

I've got many pictures who bring me good memories.Pictures taken from parties,my prom etc.Every time I see them,they make me smile.There were so amazing times.....

I feel the same way. Looking at the old pictures not just bring back the memories you've shared with those in the picture but makes you realize also how much you've grown, mature and changed in the past few years. It makes you treasure more the moments you've had when you were still young. It makes you realize the worth of life and that life is beautiful just like the title of the movie.

yes your right, it really brings back memory specially my high school picture as i can still remember those funny days with them, then sadness also because i dont see them anymore and i dont know where are they now. i tried to look for them via facebook nor friendster but i cant find some of them as maybe they are using their husband last name already thats why it didnt show up.
