It's holy week. What are you going to do? For me, I already attended a retreat and I know that this is not enough but somehow it helps me a lot on my spiritual aspect, to feel more the presence of God and bring myself closer with Him. Meditation is also important for better self awareness. In the retreat that I attended it says that here are some of the things we do well to meditate on: Impatience, Coarseness, Talkativeness, Laughing at the faults of others, Over-sensitiveness, Wasting time, Cowardice, Lack of respect of holy things, Harmful spite portraying itself as a clever joke, Being stubborn, Moodiness that others must put up with, Postponement of the unpleasant, Gossip, conceit and self praise, Unjust preference for certain people that we find quiet unpleasant, Hasting in judging, False self-satisfaction, Laziness, The tendency to give up learning anymore, The tendency to refuse to listen to others, Overeating or drinking too much, Always needing to be the best, the first, or right, Bad manners, sexist language or attitude, sleazy magazines and trashy television and Uncontrollable or manipulative behavior.
I would like to highlight on wasting time because I realized that sometimes I am not making use of my vacant time. I tend to just relax and sleep. I could be more productive if I will not do it this way. Next is impatience because if I am under pressure from someone and not allowing myself to have my own pace then I could be impatient. Or, if I want things to fall into its place right away in which proper time should be considered.
What about you?

Self awareness like what you have noticed into yourself is very important. It serves as a window to learn these things. If we are not aware of what's going on with us then tendency is we think we are on the right track on our own way without knowing that we need to have a little change or make an adjustment. Good day.
