sharing my computer with my sis and everydbody

You are to kind. However, I believe if you share the computer with others they should be helping out with the bill. I have a computer but my daughter and her husband use it too. So we split the bill down the middle. Why should you pay it all when you don't get to use it all the time. That would bother me alot. What I do with my daughter is we have a schedule set up. When she is at her job I use the computer at home. Then when she gets home she can have the computer. On her days off we use it half the day each. Its makes sense since we are both paying the bill. I bet if you told them "if you want to use my computer you will have to start paying half the bill they will stop using the computer."

i guess you re just like that in nature and there are not many generous people nowadays and you said it yourself that it s expensive to buy a pc and it s true cuz many would rent a pc that have massive authority in them so just think for awhile now why you are like that and imagine yourself having authority over them in a nice way. does it make you feel good about it?

Well I guess sharing is a nice value and I admire you for that. I think you need not be angry at them just think that somehow at some point in time they will enjoy using your computer and have the chance to connect. In time, yours will also come and as much as you can enjoy what is left of it.

We all pass a stage where we had to compromise for many reasons. I for one had a share on that especially I have three older brothers. Way back we had one desktop and we all had to share because computers were not a big thing yet. So I end up just checking my mail and check on a few sites while my parents would use it for business and my brothers as well. So I really end up doing a few things not unless they are out and I am left alone. This actually teached me how to share and to be very patient. Sometimes God is teaching us thru these instances and so I encourage you to grow from it.

I don't think you are. In fact I think your selfish. Week ends is only two days. While their 5 days on week days. And you must be happy that you are sharing your computer to them not brag about it. And to think you think that your generous means that you give more than what you think is enough. .. Me I will give any thing to my sisters. .. and sometimes friends also.

I think I understand your feeling since my friend come to stay with me for a month. She use my laptop all day. I'm the same with you who have no choice I cannot say No to her.

I have to share the computer with my husband and my sons. We have only one computer and I need to share it with the rest of the family too. So, I can't mylot when husband is home and the son needs it for studies. The only other people who use my computer are my dad and sister when they are visiting. My dad doesn't spend more than half an hour ...just uses it to check official mails...no browsing unless it's something necessary. My sister usually brings her own laptop but she uses the computer when she doesn't bring her own laptop and she is very considerate about not hogging the computer especially when my husband is home.

Why are pc's so xpensive there? They are really cheap in China. Can you buy a used one from craigslist or neighbors?

i think it would help to set a time limit on the computer's use. like, do you know that the only advisable span of time to spend in front of the tv (and probably computer) is only 2 hours a day at the max? this is to ensure that one stays physically active and equally productive in other aspects of life .

i wonder why you allowed your friends to use your computer every weekend, i mean it they are family members then why not but for friends then i guess thats already too much. maybe you can tell your friends that you have problem with your computer and need to be repair or better yet put your computer inside the room so that when your friends visit you they cant see it working. besides theres a lot of internet cafe outside so if they want to use internet then they can rent outside than to disturb someone else computer. if im that kind of person, i guess i will also think that since i dont have computer then i will rather be quite in my house and be contented to watch tv or go to cafe shop.

i think you must enjoy even those things too. as there are some one to share with you to be with you. i think this is good to be with your family. i think we just see others. we dont see that what ever good we have.so i think you have your family with you which share with you.

Well i understand the money is real tough and when you save and pay bills, its really tired one. But nice that you share with your friends and sis. My idea would be share the money equally, so you wont have the heap burden on you, share the money too.

Believe me, in our country isn't easy to buy a PC either..So we have just one personal computer and I often row with my brother,cos he spend more time playing games and surfing in internet than me. Mainly I use it for working and listening to music. About the bad connection: Find out another internet service provider.I believe that there are better than yours.

Weekends are only two days and it is quite okay. You can do mylot on Weekdays.

Any chance you can ask them to help pay the costs? That might take some of the edge off.

hi tess__quinain I hope you can soon save up enough money to get a computer for your friends and sisters,nope really they' have to do that for themselves, but you sure are a nice friend and sister to share like that.You are a bit too kind at least they should share your own computer or save up for their own for pity's sakes.

You are still the owner of that PC. Being the owner you have control on who and when others will have access to that computer. With your current setup it seems that others are bordering on abuse already. You are the only person who can put a stop to it. I guess you are being TOO generous. Too generous to the point of complaining in silence . What you can do is come up with a schedule on when others can use your PC. this way, those who want to use your PC should adjust their schedules accordingly and it should not be the other way around.

Hello! I am the same predicament as yours. I'm the one who's paying for the internet. My father got addicted to plants and zombies. I have limited time. What I'll do is do it from 12 midnight till morning..No one's going to disturb me..hkehke.. That's what I do on weekends. during weekdays I just use it and replace my father when I had a good rest from work... Just be happy. I was also affected at first but now I got the hang of it..

And i think whats really important is that you still have time to log in to mylot once in a while. It wont hurt to share your pc with your family once in a while too.I know about the hardships when it comes to owning and paying for the bills regarding pc concerns and im just really glad that even with those kinds of obstacles your still able to join us and enjoy this site together
