Its better to have no friend than to have untrue friends?

i agree on this, 100%. you will be better off alone than have wolves around you, you will not feel safe and you will never feel comfortable with those kinds of people - being untrue to you.

Very true! Its better not to have any close friends rather than having a friend who betrays. Life is not all about making friends and being with your friends. Life is all about serving God.V are born in this world to worship him. He has created us for a prupose, not the purpose of having unworthy friends. People learn from ur past and keep moving n decide not to have friends. THEY USE US FOR THEIR BENEFITS.

We must think where did we gone wrong? Let's not put all the blame to our friends. Maybe,there's also something wrong in us,that made things went wrong. Sometimes we think our friends are bad,without knowing that,we are not a good friend to them also. Granting that,people around us are not good and we felt they're all bad. Being alone is not good either. Just try to adjust ourselves with the kind of people we are dealing,and,i am sure,we will learn from them too.

it is easy to have friends,everyone can be your friend...without friends your life is boring...it is better to have friends but don't trust that much to them because at the end maybe you will be hurt.,just select your friends.,if that person is not bad influence to you then consider them or count them as you friend,,,finding a true friend is difficult one...

Yeah I agree, it happens but i like to be friends with everyone, I have what I call semi-friends that i recently met and greet everyday we met and i also have friends that i have been with me for a long time and true best friend that that are there when you're in deep sorrow and have survived the hardships with them time and time again.

uhm :) there's saying no man is an island. maybe if you have many untrue friends. there's one that always there for you no matter what. cheer up! :)

maybe True but How about making those untrue friends become true friends =) They are your friends anyway.. =P

in friendships, we must be able to choose, not everyone can be nice to us, but it does not mean we can always think bad of others who want to be our friend .... My attitude in this regard is clear, I'd better just knowing someone than make friends with many people but they can not be kind to me

i wouldnt think the same. im practical when it comes to this. i would still keep them even if i know they have the tendency to be untrue. i can still use them for my benefit in the future.

Hi, I will support your argument here, but in a different way. I will just rearrange the words and add a few. I think it is better to wait until you get a true friend, than to have untrue friends. But if it is all about just lying, I don't prefer to abandon a friend just because he lied to me or concealed the truth from me. This crucial judgment must be done depending on what kind of a person your friend really is and what was the sole motivation for his being untrue. If we don't go deeper we often end up in judging people wrongly and thereby spoiling a potential relationship. God bless you
