I love my job, how about you?

Most days I really love my job! Of course there are days when I really don't want to deal with all the design work and html coding that come along with developing an internet site but I get it done anyway. I love the freedom to not have an alarm clock ringing in my head before the sun comes up. And the harder I work, the better the site is so that's gratifying as well.
I have had many jobs in the past that I really dreaded getting up to go to work another day there. It was a paycheck, nothing more.
How do you feel about your job? Is it more of a career choice or just a paycheck? I know in this economy, many folks aren't working their favorite type of job, how about you?

I can really relate! It's much better to have a job than to be searching for one. Cause if you have a job, you can always choose to look for a better one! Hopefully the people you work with help make up for the situation as that is very important too! Take care!

No I dont love my work anymore and I dont want to work in this office. It is because I was demoted by my boss, I am now a receptionist but before I used to work in the operations, she hates me a lot and will do everything to get me out of here. She placed me in the place where the area was so uncomfortable with me. She knows that I am 7 months pregnant and the area was dangerous. Maybe if she is good with me and not demoted, I will not plan to leave this company.

What? I think you need to quit your job and look for a new one. Don't suffer your boss' hostility, you do not deserve to be treated that way especially now that you're conceiving a baby. Avoid getting stressed and don't be too emotional for it affects your pregnancy. Pray always. God will always provide all our needs.

I was out of work for a almost all this past year. The economy was so bad that even though I had great skills, the jobs just weren't there. This job I have now is what I have done since I started working and I really do enjoy it, the people are awesome, the things I do, I emjoy. Of course I have my days where I just don't want to get out of bed to go to work but for me at the end of the end (or beginning when I don't want to get up) I'm just so thankful to even have a job now that I can't help but love it!

I'm very happy to hear that you found a job that seems to be working out so well! I agree if your coworkers are wonderful it makes such a difference! And we all have the days when we don't want to go to work but at least for you there is work. So many people are struggling to find any job that we do need to appreciate what we do have and you seem to have a nice balance! Thanks for sharing!!

hi tallygirl,
Teaching is not my choice. What I really want is to have a profession related to computer. But because tuition is very high in computer school, I decided to go for a teaching course. At first, I hate doing lesson plans, visual aids and other stuffs related to teaching, but as time goes by, I learned how to love it. It is a great pleasure when your students learn from you. Whenever I teach in front of the class, I can see my student's eyes saying something so meaningful that "I want to learn." That what keeps me motivated. Although some people say, I must not teach because I will just be an old maid, I do not care on them. I know I will not be an old maid because I want to see myself having my own family also in the future.
Some people do not also want to be a teacher because they said its just a headache teaching naughty students. But with my experience, I enjoy more of my time with my students because even they are naughty, they do know how to behave whenever I try to discipline them.

Teaching is a wonderful profession! You should be very proud of yourself! And maybe if you can, start saving to be able to take more courses in computers if that is what you like best. Just think about what a wonderful difference you are making in the kid's lives!
To have a teacher that can pull lesson plans together and keep it all interesting is terrific! And kids will be kids so of course they are going to act up sometimes and it's nice that you can handle that.
What you do for a job should not make a difference in finding a spouse and having a family. In fact, you will be a better parent since you are one every day to some extent. Thanks for sharing!!

I had read from the book of Brian Tracy - Love what you do and you will never work another day in your life. Congratulations! I am happy for you. Keep this up. It is very difficult to love one's work and you are already miles ahead because you are loving it. Keep it up.

Thank you very much! I love Brian Tracy! So much of what he writes about we already know but he shows how to put it into practice. I work hard but can see progress every day so that's important to me. I also love Tony Robbins as he started with nothing and really turned his life around. I find that the more positive energy I bring into my life the better! Take care!!

How wonderful!! I love kids to and being around them one has some of their joy rub off on you no matter how bad the day might be. I can imagine that it is very rewarding to see them learning things and growing. The world needs more teachers that really care and your kids are lucky to have you! Thanks for sharing! Take care!

I like my job. which is lucky, I know, but the people are nice, the work is easy and satisfying, and I get paid enough. More money would be nice, but really, I can't have everything.

Working with nice people makes such a big difference! I had one company where it was like working with family, we really liked each other and used to have dinners at each other's homes and such. The company got sold and then we all got laid off at different times which was sad. I am still friends with many of them. And you seem to have a good balance overall!

I love my present work compared to my previous jobs. In here my superiors are humane and the working environment is good. The more time I render my service the bigger the compensation is. Plus two meals a day are free. Every pay day, there are over flowing snacks. But the best thing about my present work is that I can use the internet anytime as long as I don't have class.

I used to hate my job... it was very challenging and stressed though it's a good professional experience. I wanted to quit every morning I woke up... Now I changed to another job which gives me more freedom but I found that my previous experience really helped me to cope with difficult situations and I started thank you god not allowing me to quit my previous job earlier as the experiences counts!

I LOVE my job!! I am a singer/songwriter, as well as an online entrepreneur! I have a CD, 'Doublewide White Trash (Ain't So Bad)' coming out in April. Playing my guitar, singing my songs, and loving life!! I used to drive trucks, but this is much more therapeutic and rewarding!!

Well, I do love my job. I training people how to provide care in emergency situations. I also do a lot of traveling as part of my work. It is very tiresome but very much fulfilling. The paycheck is not that great but I would rather have an enjoyable job rather than have a great paycheck without enjoyment and fun.

Oh, I love my job...I have been earning from home for over 10 years. I wouldn't change a thing. I enjoy the freedom and the money is nice as well.
I enjoy building my own web pages too...I am a html coding nerd/geek mom if you ask my kids I am constantly working on my next project.
I enjoy teaching others to earn online as well. It is nice to be able to give other a sense of financial freedom. It is good to see someone else who enjoys their work...when I look around lately, we are a rare breed.
I wish you continued success

Well at first, I'm doing my job for the sake of having a job and of course for the paycheck.Who would want to stay at home and do nothing anyway? I was thinking..what the hell am I doing here?. But as the days goes by i have learned to love it and embrace the job itself. I just woke up in the morning and realized that I've got an interesting job that some people might disagree...but what the heck! I'm nailing it, I'm good at it and I'm on it!
