I know scientists have an answer to that question gino not me lol . But hey i think it has something to do with the acidic level of the sea compared to the tap water that we commonly use. This is what makes the marine creatures live out there in the ocean but im not a marine biologist or something that why i will just be guessing just like you lol ;)

There you go! It's ok! Atleast even though we haven't done any research yet we have so many answers also on our mind! Pretty amazing! Congrats thinkers!

There was a story once long ago about two thieves stealing a magic machine that can produce anything one wishes. Right after stealing, they loaded a boat in order to cross the big sea and never return, and therefore never be captured. In the middle of the sea, the two thieves became hungry and they brought out their packed food. To their disgust, the food was tasteless. One thief came up with the brilliant idea of testing their newly prized possession. So they told the machine to give them as much salt so they could enjoy their meal. The equipment started rolling and producing salt. The two were so happy they forgot to tell the equipment to stop. By the time they realized that the boat was sinking because of the salt, the machine wouldn't stop anymore. It is believed that to this day, the magic machine is still emitting salt. That is why the sea is salty.Hope you enjoyed the story.
