Hello friends! Would you want to marry a man who makes less money than you? Guys, would you want your wife to make more than you? There's that common perception that men are the breadwinners of the house. Does a man's ego get hurt if it is the other way around and the wife is making more? Give me your opinions.

I am married to a man who was making less them me. When we first met, I had a job and he didn't. I QUIT my job so I could be nearer to him. Then when we both started working again I made more then he did, but for awhile I didn't have a job and he did. Now he has the same job but I don't have a job anymore.
Money doesn't buy happiness, so it doesn't mattter to me if we are dirt poor one day as long as we have each other.

Aw that's sweet. And your right, money isn't an issue when there is love in the relationship.

Exactly. I also have my beliefs about money but I won't get into them , I don't want to seem as if I am infringing them upon you. Welcome to mylot!
