9-year-old N.Y. schoolboy almost suspended for playing a 2-inch LEGO gun!

Read it just a while ago, took place in February, I think. Can you believe this? In one of New York schools a 4-grader had his gun seized and was taken to principle's office for questioning. The funny thing is that even the boy's father, former police officer, could not understand how a 2-inch gun may be the cause of troubles, especially in the hands of a 9 y.o. kid. The principle claimed that toy guns of any size are forbidden in the school LOL. Well, I understand the basic idea behind the priniple's words, but this is just unbelievable! LOL
