Having "beauty within" is only in ones mind that wants to believe it. IT's a nice thought and would be great if it actually worked, but society doesn't want it to work. What you have inside is only acknowledged once you get to know a person and even then...odds are the not so "physically" pretty ones, seldom are hanging out with the "physically" pretty ones.
That saying about first impressions and you only get one chance to make a first impression....horrible as it is, but if a "physically" pretty girl and a not so "physically" pretty girl but has a good heart and good "inside", both walk into a room together... unfortunately we all know who will get the best first impression, who will get the most attention and odds are... as in a job interview...who will most likely get the job.
I can actually attest to that one. I was part of a panel of interviewers at 2 places I worked. I was looking for someone that could do the job so I could stop doing the job of 2 while being paid for the job of 1. I wasn't interested in how they looked, but could they do the job?
After all the interveiws each day...we'd all compare notes as to why we did or didn't want each of the applicants. At the one job, There was me, another woman (heavy set - the owner!) and a man. The heavy set owner always chose the heavy set people (man or woman) and the man always chose the cutest applicant. I was the only one that chose the qualified one. I told them why the applicant did or didn't know the job and they'd sluff it off. They'd choose one or the other and I'd tell them why that person would not be able to do the job and wouldn't last. They thought i was nuts. But sure enough every time they'd hire "their" choice.. that applicant was let go within the month. And I was back to doing double duty until I could talk them into giving the qualified person a chance... even tho she wasn't cute or looked the way they wanted. I staffed my loan processing division this way and eventually got back to doing just my job.
So take it for what you think, but inter beauty is always a second.

Yes, I truly believe that "Beauty comes on your face from inside". I have a friend, if you first look at her, she doesn't look attractive. But her personality is attractive enough to draw people near her. She has so many friends more than pretty girls do, she is nice, intelligent, and is a very good friend. She is a very beautiful person to me.

Internal feelings and outside beauty do not go together. Some years ago, one of my relative bridegroom went to see the bride with his parents. The bride was dark complexion and the parents were thinking how to say okay to the bride. By the time , the bridegroom who was M.A in Literature uttered the phrase " The darkest cloud has a silver lining" and he has said Okay to marry the bride. And the marriage was solemnized. He saw the internal beauty through her smile.Happy myLotting.
