How many times did you run it?

So we have all been there you want this nice shiny new piece of gear during your world of warcraft career. My question what is the highest amount of times that you ran an instance for a certain piece of gear, what was the item, and what instance was it. For me it was the Splintered Door of the Citadel shield that drops in Halls of Reflection took me about 30 runs to get it.

I also don't grind a certain dungeon just for a specific item. I was doing that in the past but not anymore. I find it more productive to set goals for the day so I stick to them and I'm fine with that.
