PHP vs ASPX

PHP is just an interpreted language and any page can be developed by using PHP. Whereas ASP.net is dependent on the framework. Both have their own advantages. Each has its own working space and they are really OOP. Php is easy to html programmers and ofcourse Asp might look somewhat different for html programmers because it is dependent on .net framework

PHP any day. It performs faster. all the time. Just try it and you will see the difference in performance.

We cannot say which is better because it depends upon the programmer .Nothing is better if we consider security.But php is opensource it is very easy and cost effective ,but asp you have to pay and it is userfriendly.So its all in programmer hand to choose which language is better for him.

If I were you I would go for PHP, I use PHP too and it is really easy once you got the basics. With ASP I don't have any experience but I heard that PHP is better.

if you accustomed used visual basic for desktop programming, so you can better used ASP for web programming. But i like used PHP because : - Flexible for server that will be used - Flexible for database that will be used - Speed loading for browser - More forum which discuss about PHP, so if there's a difficulty we can easy to find solution
