If you see a cross, what message does it convey to you? Does it reminds you of Jesus and His love, or it reminds you of the gruesome and destructive nature of sin?

The cross is a reminder for all of us of how Jesus Christ humbled himself, and how he loves us all.

2 Great Doctrines…In Christ, you righteous before God the Judge (justification) & loved by God the Father (adoption).

It reminds me of the years of my youth. This was a time when Christian thought oppressed my mind, restricted it, and caused much turmoil. It reminds me that I am outnumbered, judged, and that a tyrannical majority will always get their way, despite the fact that their actions are based on a contrivance.

Whenever I see the cross, it reminds me of His great love, a love I do not deserve. A love that so many people wants and needs; but sadly, this love is usually rejected and despised. Seeing the cross always reminds of God's character, what type of God he is. Indeed, he is a great God, a God who is full of humility, wisdom, grace and mercy. He really showed us and was an example of what love is. I just feel so lucky and blessed that i know Him, that I know LOVE.
