Do couple from the same age understand each other?

Hi, Can anyone tell me how much age in years should be between a couple? Do age difference of 3years & above understand each other or of same age get along wel ?

I guess there is no fixed age differences for both to get along with, only depending on whether both are willing to try to know and understand each other.

Well I've seen that couple from the same age fight a lot while age difference in more than 4yrs leads to more understanding between them.
